Does anyone know of Steve Forbert if I reference him in the post below





Here’s one song for all you late night junkies. This one goes out to all of you who don’t waste valuable company time searching the blogs for mp3′s during your 9-5′s. Here’s one song from Americana up and comer Alastair Moock (probably will need to change his name though). He wears his influences on his sleeve but while we wait for a new Steve Forbert release he’ll be the closest we’ve got. Here’s “Unwanted Guest” from his 2004 release Let It Go.

I’m tempted to throw a bunch of Steve Forbert tracks up now for comparison but I’m going to withhold that ’til the morning.

    I got the reference…I just compared Jesse DeNatle to Forbert, and you’re right…Moock definately sounds like him…thanks again for another good post!
