I realize I haven’t said anything about her music and that’s partly because I haven’t heard it all yet. Her debut is available on Feb 8 and can be preordered from Amazon now here. But from what I hear and read she’s a real chantreuse, a siren like Madeline Peyroux or Holly Cole. Her sound is a pastiche of cabaret, early jazz and blues. Here’s track 2 from Tangos and Tantrums:
