Tyler Messick – sort of part of the Canadian Music feature

Is an American living in Halifax. So while his bio says he is a songwriter in the traditional British sense, he is also influenced by bluegrass and Dylan. Tyler Messick released a solo record in 2003 called Grain Sales of 1840 and is currently working on his followup called Philadelphia. He’s got seven songs from his debut available online as well as a two song preview from Philadelphia. On a more random note Tyler and the members of his band are members of the local Grainery Co-op and support buying produce locally.
