Preview Ana Egge’s New Release Out Past The Lights (March 15)

This is the first of a two part post about two singers who share several things in common. Both have brand new releases on Ryko, both list Ron Sexsmith as a friend and collaberator and both mine the same Americana ground. Kind of a gothic americana more in line with Mazzy Star and Joseph Arthur (who produced Tara Angell’s debut Come Down) then Lucinda Williams and Steve Earl.
