The best way to discover bands you’ll like is to go to the links section of a band you love and explore from there. I found The Good Ship that way through Liz Durrett’s website.
The Good Ship is Rob Lomax’s Athens Ga. band. He has recently added the aforementioned LiZ Durrett to the band as a violinist. This folk pop has all the trappings of Neutral Milk Hotel and others of that ilk. It’s a fine ilk by the way. Their debut came out in 2003 and a new cd is expected in 2005.
