One of my favorite labels is Signature Sounds despite the fact that they pretend I do not exist and do not return my emails. I’m not sure if they’re pro or con mp3 blogs (they don’t provide mp3’s on their site) but I suppose I’ll continue highlighting their releases until I get the ol’ cease and desist letter.
The newest release from Signature Sounds is the new record from Tracy Grammar , she’s a folk artist of impeccible creditentials and a track record of producing the most beautiful traditional folk.
Her musical partner had been Dave Carter but he died suddenly in 2002. Featured on Flower Of Avalon are 9 previousely unheard Dave Carter songs. You can order this now from Signature Sounds the release date was April 27th.
