When the Deadstring Brothers record, Starving Winter Report, does come out on Bloodshot early next year I think it’ll rock some boats. This Detroit area band has a retro sound, if the Rolling Stones didn’t suck this is what they might sound like today. Here’s what I wrote about their debut for Times Beach (now out of business unfortunately).
