Johanna Kunin has finished recording her debut full length record. She recorded it with Tucker Martine who has worked with Songs:Illinois favs Laura Veirs, Jesse Sykes and Erin McKeown. I’m proud to be the first to share these two songs from this unreleased record and unsigned artist.
Johanna is no neophyte as she has been playing piano since the age of 5 and I imagine writing songs for years now. She recently was part of Karl Blau’s Kelp! Monthly series and has a song on Ball Of Wax Audio Quarterly Vol. 2. If you work at a label pass this one up the line of command. You can thank me later.
