In the past I’ve written about music that can best be described as circusy. But nothing screams the circus like the song “Big Top Soda Pop” by Mad Tea Party. Mixing elements of zydeco, blues and weird ukele-indie-folk, Mad Tea Party will release their new record on Oct 3. All three members add vocals and are multi-instrumentalists, you might hear accordian, kazoo’s, accordian, washboard or fiddle.
Big Top Soda Pop has been picked up for national distribution by Red Eye Distribution so it should be in all your better record stores and digital download locations soon. You can pre-order it here now though.
