Chris Bathgate is one of my favorite upcoming artists working today. Throatsleep is definitely worth the purchase, as are his other two albums, though I’m not sure if they’re still available. He has an incredible track on Yer Bird Records compilation album, Folk Music For the End of the World. The album should be available to order by Thursday next week at http://www.yerbird.com. There’s a streaming clip of the song up on the site already!
