I’m a little late on writing about the new Shaky Hands video, I received the email with it’s announcement tonight at 8:09 pm and here it is an hour later and two sites have beat me to the punch (IGIF and SOTS) but that’s ok the more the merrier when it comes to The Shaky hands. Usually I’m a bit possessive when I feel like I’m the first to a band (so yeah I wrote about `em first in November before StG, GvB, IGIF, and everybody else) but these guys have such a joyous, youthful sound that I really do want them to be on Stereogum, Idolator, Salon and all the others in the morning. So here’s the video, it reminds me of the title from one of my favorite (and now defunct) mp3 blogs – Indie Don’t Dance. In this case indie did dance in the end, I can’t wait to try to resist dancing to this band too. I hope they make it to someones basement in Chicago some time soon (holy fuck! I just checked they’re playing The Note on May 15!).
