I’m a fan of Grayson Capps, plain and simple. So is Aquarium Drunkard (here) and most of continental Europe. So I feel like I’m at least in some pretty good company. Grayson has a new record, Songbones, out this week on Hyena Records. It’s actually a re-release of an acoustic record that originally came out in 2003.
The song “I Can’t Hear You” is an acoustic blues number with violin. It’s stark, simple and powerful. See why some are saying Grayson is one of the most important singer-songwriter to come out of the South in years. Pick up Songbones here.
