The Hepburns from Wales make nearly perfect pop. They had a brief glimpse of pop stardom in the 80′s with an lp and a 12″ on Cherry Red as well as a Peel session. They disappeared shortly afterward only to reappear on the San Fransisco imprint Radio Khartoum in 2000. Their new record, Something Worth Stealing, is out Nov. 6 on Radio Khartoum. “The Last Thing I Saw Before I Said Goodbye” is the highly anticipated single. It’s got that jazzy lounge singer sound that the British do so well complete with ringing guitar, charming backing vocals and jazzy vibraphone.
