Chris Knight has had a storied career up to now. His music has been universally acclaimed by critics, but never fully embraced by the teeming mass of humanity.
His new record is said to change all that. And from the songs I’ve heard it does have a little more of a muscular, anthemic nature.
Pre-order Heart Of Stone now here (Drifter’s Church, Aug. 19)
Good Call. His first album is great and the last song, “William” is probably the saddest song ever.
I still don't think he'll find a wide audience with this record, fantastic as it is. Dude's still the best Americana songwriter going. I wouldn't call this album his best, but it definitely contains some of his best songs, Crooked Road being one of the best of his career.
