I know nothing of this band, but I'm amused because there was a band in Madison, WI in the early 80s called Sometimes Why. They were a power-pop outfit that everybody thought would be the next big thing. I think that Butch Vig – Garbage, Nirvana-producer – produced their only album. And did a rotten job of it, too.

Just pure music trivia. I hope that by unloading this stuff randomly on the web, I may eventually clear my head and be able to think clearly.

Hmm. The song makes a decent light lullaby, but the arrangement here is too back and forth, and ultimately the hard rock organ, fuzz-guitar, and drum beat of the “forth” isn't the best showcase for the team's light folk harmonies. Unfortunate, that — each of the three makes such beautiful music, both together and as solo artists. Still, every artist gets to make a few poor production choices here and there.

Oh dear lord, why? I love Crooked Still, but this is awful. Of course, Concrete Blonde is one of my favorite bands of all time, so I have very high standards for any cover of their songs.
