Charlie Shafter has a record coming out produced by Ray Wylie Hubbard. That and the fact that Ray has had some nice things to say about Charlie is enough to pay heed. Charlie has a bunch of SXSW showcases. I like the lineup on Friday at the Lone Star Music Stage the best (Gurf Morlix, Band Of Heathens, and possible Terri Hendrix and Lloyd Maines).
